After coating the paper with Konnyaku Paste* and kneading it into softness -  The Sewing has begun, upstairs in the KIAC Ballroom.

Week 3:

Changing gears a bit - I am able to use the great facilities at the School of the Visual Arts (SOVA) here in Dawson City.

Cutting my long sheets of Kozuke Paper* in the Library, and dyeing in the 3-D Studios.

* Kosuke Paper bought from the Japanese Paper Place in Toronto. An excellent artist resource!

Week 2:

Trying to get out on the Slide most days to wrap rocks.

But also a few days spent in the Studio -  testing the dying of the Kozuke Paper
and working with Konnyaku Paste.

Week 1:

Up on the Slide - wrapping rocks with Abaca paper and Rice Paste.  It's been fantastic weather - clear skies for the most part and cool, crisp breezes.
